1. Services Provided

We provide tax preparation, bookkeeping, business formation, and general accounting services. The specific scope of services will be outlined in a separate engagement letter or service agreement provided to you upon becoming a client.

2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure accurate and timely service, you agree to:

• Provide complete, accurate, and truthful financial records and information.
• Submit requested documentation by the deadlines we specify.
• Retain copies of all original documents provided to us.

We are not responsible for any penalties, interest, or issues arising from incomplete, missing, or inaccurate information provided by you.

3. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By opting into our SMS notifications via our website form, you agree to the following based on your specific selections:

• Consent: Depending on the options you selected, you consent to receive informational text messages (e.g., tax deadlines, payment updates) and/or promotional text messages to the mobile number provided. Consent is separate for marketing and informational messages, and neither is a condition of any purchase.
• Frequency: You will receive up to 2 messages per month per opted-in category.
• Rates: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier.
• Opting Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After sending STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent.
• Help: If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance.

4. Payment and Fees

Fees for our services will be communicated prior to the commencement of any work. Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise specified in your engagement letter. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts with past-due balances.

5. Limitation of Liability

While we exercise due professional care, we do not guarantee outcomes (such as specific tax refund amounts or audit immunity). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dowdle CPA LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use of our services.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate the client relationship at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice. Upon termination, you remain responsible for payment for all services rendered up to the date of termination.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our principal office is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
